I have been rummaging the net about the ways I could utilise these summer holidays after the first year of college. My initial plan had been to do nothing at all. Afterall ,these holidays have come after a whole year away in that godforsaken city. But well,I have been told a million times in the last 10 days how these holidays are once in a lifetime type of thingie. From next year I would be busy doing…stuff. Hence, my research. So,these are the most recurring ones in those long long lists(Feel free to ignore my comments and opinions):-
#Learn something new. Well duh. You can learn something you feel passionately about during this break.
#Brush up your “existing” skills. Yes. Work on the skills and talents you already have. For those of you who don’t have any (like me),skip this, obviously.
#Sleep. God knows, you aren’t going to get any once the new academic year starts.
#Do some social work. That’s a good way to go,in my opinion. This way you can do some good and you would get something to write on your CV.I desperately need stuff I can write. I don’t have shit worth of stuff I can mention there.
#Eat the delicacies your ma prepares. And don’t give a shit about calories.I don’t. Don’t look at my butt. Don’t look.
#Socialise. Now that’s a big no no for someone who doesn’t like people much. But it is a necessity in today’s time. That’s how you’ll get “exposure”.
#Spend time with family and friends, ofcourse. Even if you’re a people hater, you gotta love your family and friends, right?Right.
#Improve your vocabulary and writing skills. Exactly. Since, English is the most widely used language around the globe, you gotta have a strong grip on it. So,Read. Read. And Read. And write, ofcourse.:P
#ENJOY. Any which way. Just enjoy.
#Blog.I know you wanna. *in a sing-song voice*
#Or you could just ignore the above babbling and do nothing at all. Your call.*winks*
I know I know. Lists aren’t really my thing. But this is something I had been focusing on quite a bit in the last couple of days. So, I had to share, yeah?
